There are contested races in the upcoming elections for the cities of Riverside, Brighton, and Crawfordsville.

In Riverside’s election, incumbent Mayor Allen Schneider is running against Joseph Graff for a two-year term. Riverside voters will select two council members to serve, and incumbents Ralph Schnoebelen and Tom Sexton are running against Edgar McGuire and Andy Rodgers. There are five candidates running for three council seats in Crawfordsville, incumbents Gene Miller and Carolyn Steele and newcomers Sheila Baker, Cory Hogue, and Catherine Williams. For Brighton’s election Mayor Robert Farley is running against David Hagans. Councilmember Charles Emry is running against Rose Jaynes and David McArtor for a four year term. The election is on November 7.
