Eight People Seeking Four Seats on Washington City Council

There will be eight names on the ballot vying for four seats on the Washington City Council this November.

Pete Schaefer and current councilman Jaron Rosien are seeking the Mayor position. Current Mayor Sandra Johnson is not seeking reelection. Ward 2 has Steve Gault seeking reelection. Ward 4, currently held by Rosien, has three people on the ballot – Bob Gaal, Chris Gault, and Fran Stigers. The council-at-large seat is also contested with Elaine Moore and Evie Richardson. The at-large position is currently held by Kathy Salazar, who is not seeking reelection. The election will be held November 7th.
