The Iowa Mennonite, Highland, Keota and Lone Tree cross country teams will all be in action tonight at Knoll Ridge golf course in North English.

The IMS boys are coming off of a seventh place finish of nine teams at last week’s Fairfield meet at Waterworks Park, at the event the IMS boys were led by Levi Geyer in third place overall. Geyer enters tonight’s race ranked No. 13 in the state in class 1A in the latest poll from the Iowa Track Coaches Association. The IMS girls were also at Waterworks Park, finishing ninth of 10 teams. They were led by Mackenzie Gutierrez in 31st place.

The Highland boys are coming off of an eighth place finish in Fairfield while the Huskies took fifth on the girls side.

Lone Tree also last ran at Fairfield. The Lions were sixth on the boys side. The Lady Lions finished fourth in the girls standings.

The Keota Eagles were last on the course at Colfax-Mingo Thursday. Turner Klein enters tonight individually ranked No. 20 in the latest poll from the Iowa Track Coaches Association.

Varsity races begin at 5:30 tonight in North English
