The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Center Point-Urbana Tuesday night for the Stormin’ Pointer Invitational.

The IMS boys were eighth out of nine teams with an overall score of 188 points, Anamosa won the meet with 38. Levi Geyer was the top IMS finisher, taking fourth in a time of 18:31. Other IMS finishers include Jacob Boller 41st, Aaron Hershberger 72nd, Gideon Sangare 81st, Micah Miller 87th, Jesse Slater 91st, Johnny Diaz 92nd and Gibson Lowenberg 100th.

The Iowa Mennonite School girls were ninth out of nine teams with their overall score of 206 points. Anamosa won the meet with 38 points. Top finisher for the IMS girls was Sarena Gerber in 49th with a time of 27:01. Other finishers for IMS included Mackenzie Gutierrez 50th, Greta Schrag 79th, Rachel Geyer 80th, Kennedy Roth 85th, Ainsley Shaw 86th and Meredith Blossom 88th.

Iowa Mennonite will next be in action September 28th at the City High Invitational.
