The Mid-Prairie boys and girls cross country teams brought home all of the hardware at Monday’s Clear Creek Classic at the Iowa City Kickers Complex.

The No. 3 ranked Mid-Prairie boys brought home the team championship with their score of 29 points. Clear Creek Amana was second with 31 points. Mid-Prairie was led by individual meet champion Floyd Evans with his time of 17:28.

Other finishers for Mid-Prairie included Peyton Miller third, Zach Pettit fourth, Quinn Schmidt ninth, Cary Schaefer 12th, Miles Burrows 14th, Marshal Teets 18th, Lucas Bontrager 23rd, Samson Kimani 27th, David Fleming 31st, Jamison Stutzman 35th, Spencer Yutzy 37th, Kyle Miller 41st, Luke Albright 65th, Austin Bontrager 67th, Levi Stultz 73rd, Dallas Miller 75th, Jack Schlabaugh 78th, Eli Van Roekel 81st, Elmir Ganibegovic 84th, and Ethan Hall 86th.

The Winfield-Mt. Union boys were fourth with 115 points. The Wolves were led by Brody Barton in 13th with a time of 19:18. Other finishers for WMU included Jarod Kadel 22nd, Asa Gipple 32nd, Dane Sweezer 38th, Tristan Kauffman 42nd, Jacob Kongable 47th, Bryant Holtkamp 49th, Garrett Palmer 52nd, Talon Newton 55th, Destiny Calvin 70th, Garrick Dodson 76th and Ben Hemsworth 83rd.

The Columbus boys were fifth with 132 points. The Wildcats were led by Marc Estrada in 17th with a time of 19:39. Other finishers for the Wildcats included Hunter Humiston 28th, Jesus Medrano 39th, Johnny Espinosa 48th, Chase Wheeler 56th, James Spurlock 60th, Jairo Camarena 71st, Cesar Neri 72nd, Coletrane Sipes 82nd, Owen Watson 85th and Manny Estrada 89th.

The WACO Warriors did not have enough runners to post a team score. They were led by Tanner Conwell in 61st with a time of 24:04. Joe Edeker finished in 69th at 24:55.

The No. 1 ranked Mid-Prairie girls were team champions with their overall score of 17 points. Vinton Shellsburg was second with 58 points. The Golden Hawks had the individual meet champion and saw a 1-2-3 Golden Hawk finish with Marie Hostetler taking the individual title in 19:35, Anna Hostetler finish second and Ana Fleming third. Other finishers for the Golden Hawk girls included Abbagail Evans sixth, Moriah Brase seventh, Kate Cavanagh 8th, Kessa Jones 10th, Kyleigh Graham 16th, Sarah Meader 19th, Sophia Norman 29th, Kitty Conway 31st, Shelby Zahradnek 37th, Jill Owen 40th, and Zebi Kimani 43rd.

The Columbus girls finished fourth with their score of 120 points. Top finisher for the Wildcats was Odalyz Valdez in 33rd with a time of 28:48. Other finishers for the Wildcats incldued Aaliyah Santos 38th, Gloria Montiel 45th, Mayeli Martinez 47th, Vanessa Martinez 48th, Julie Sosa 49th and Katie Martinez 50th.

Winfield-Mt. Union did not have enough runners to post a team score. The Wolves were led by Pearl Kreiger-Coble in fourth with a time of 22:03. Other finishers for the Wolves included Cecelia Hemsworth 11th, Whitney Vantiger 30th and Fionna Sparrow 39th.

WACO had one runner in the field with Makenzie Shelman finishing in 46th with a time of 36:36.
