A Henry County man was arrested over the weekend after violating his sex offender registration.

A Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy and a parole officer found 29-year-old Richard Leroy Parker Jr. at a rural residence near Salem. Officers discovered that Parker was living and working in Henry County and had failed to register with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office with this information due to him being a registered sex offender. Parker was arrested and charged with two counts of sex offender registration violations and probation violation.
