The No. 12 ranked Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team opens the home portion of their schedule tonight when they host area rival Winfield-Mt. Union.

IMS enters play today ranked No. 12 in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. IMS is out to a 4-0 start to the year with wins over Albia, Fairfield, Eddyville-Blakesburg and Wapello. On the season IMS is led by Rubye Ney and Suzanna Yoder each with 18 kills. Yoder also leads the team and is ninth in the conference with 42 digs. Samantha Miller leads IMS and is seventh in the Superconference with 40 assists.

Winfield-Mt. Union enters the match with an overall record of 3-4. In their last action they beat Highland in five sets. On the season the Wolves are led by Jenna Buffington with 47 kills, fourth most in the Superconference. Lauren Jameson has the team lead and is third in the conference with 83 assists. Kyndal Townsley leads the Wolves defense and is seventh in the conference with 54 digs.

These two teams met three times last season with WMU taking two of three. Action begins tonight at 7:15 at Hillcrest Union in Kalona.
