The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls cross country teams were in action Tuesday at Knoll Ridge Golf Course in North English.

The IMS boys finished in seventh place of nine teams with an overall score of 175 points. Tipton won the meet with 30 points. Top finisher for IMS was Levi Geyer in eighth place with a time of 19:19. Other IMS finishers included Jacob Boller 31st, Aaron Hershberger 49th, Micah Miller 60th, Gideon Sangare 62nd, and Jesse Slater 66th.

The Iowa Mennonite girls were eighth of eight teams with an overall score of 172 points. Tipton won the girls event with 29 points. Top finisher for the IMS girls was Sarena Gerber in 20th with a time of 26:44. Other IMS finishers included Mackenzie Gutierrez 37th, Greta Schrag 49th, Rachel Geyer 51st, Kenndey Roth 57th, Meredith Blossom 59th and Ainsley Shaw 60th.

The IMS cross country teams will next be in action at Center Point-Urbana next week.
