Though commencement is eight months away, now is the time for seniors to start thinking of their post-graduation plans.

Iowa Mennonite School is hosting a college night this Monday for students to meet with representatives from five Mennonite schools: Bethel College, Goshen College, Eastern Mennonite University, Hesston College, and Bluffton University. Guidance Counselor Dwight Gingerich describes the event as an evening of information sharing, “They will get that conversation going and try to zoom in on what students are interested in and respond accordingly to each student. They will provide information about special programs that those schools have that the student may be interested in. They really are going to take it in whatever direction the students and families want to go with the conversation.”

Students who register for the event will be given 20 minute sessions with all or whichever representative they wish to meet. College night will start at 4 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m. Seniors are encouraged to attend but all high schoolers are welcome, from IMS and in the area. Contact Gingerich to sign up for the event.
