The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls cross country teams will be in action tonight in Iowa City at the Bud Williams Invitational.

The event is held at the Ashton Cross Country Course on the campus of the University of Iowa, hosted by City High. IMS comes into the event having run last week at Center Point Urbana. The IMS boys were eighth of nine teams, led by Levi Geyer’s fourth place finish. The IMS girls were ninth of nine teams with Sarena Gerber leading the way in 49th place.

Iowa Mennonite will be joined tonight at the meet by No. 8 in class 4A Iowa City, City High, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Durant, Iowa City Liberty, Ottumwa, No. 4 in class 4A Pleasant Valley, and No. 6 in class 1A Pekin.

Action begins tonight at 4:30 and continues into the evening in Iowa City.
