The No. 12 ranked Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team outlasted Winfield-Mt. Union Tuesday night at Hillcrest Union in Kalona.

IMS claimed the win in five games, by scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-27, 21-25 and 15-10. After a pair of convincing early wins, IMS was one point away from a sweep in the third set before the Wolves rallied not only to win the third but also the fourth and force a tiebreaker. In the fifth and final set, IMS raced out to an 8-2 advantage, The Wolves would get as close as 13-10 before IMS closed out the win.

IMS was led on the night by Suzanna Yoder with 11 kills. WMU was led by Jenna Buffington with 12 kills. With the win IMS is now 5-0 on the season, WMU falls to 3-5.
