Another week and another win for the Lone Tree football team as they hit the road to face off with English Valleys and they came out with a convincing 55-6 victory.

It was a team-effort offensively for the Lions as nine players combined for 193 yards on the ground. Bryce Houser once again led that group with 10 rushes for 92 yards and two scores. Harmon Miller was efficient through the air completing six of his nine passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Avery Knock, Aaron Slaughter, and Brock Smith all racked up receiving touchdowns on the day. Defensively Lone Tree held the Bears to just 128 yards of total offense. Casey Shalla paced the defense with six tackles and also managed an interception that he took back 23 yards for a score.

With the win the Lions improve to 5-0 as English Valleys drop to 2-3. Lone Tree will look to continue the winning trend Friday when they host Baxter (3-1).
