The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team suffered their second straight River Valley Conference defeat Tuesday night, falling to No. 15 Iowa City Regina on the road in straight sets.

The Regals took the match by scores of 25-3, 25-10 and 25-13. Mid-Prairie was led by Phelan Hostetler and Myah Lugar each with three kills. Caitlyn Riggan led the Hawks with six assists and Alison Yoder led the Mid-Prairie defense with 11 digs.

Regina was led by Alex Wiese with 13 kills, Emily Bonnett with 21 assists and Clare Dunne with 15 digs.

With the loss Mid-Prairie falls to 3-3 on the season. The Hawks host Northeast Goose Lake tonight.
