Ballots were hand-counted in Washington County for school elections Tuesday and results came in at 11:20 p.m.

There were three positions on the ballot for the Washington school board. The District 2 seat went to Kate Glinsmann with 376 votes, over incumbent Dana McDole with 329 votes. The District 5 seat went to incumbent Heidi Vittetoe with 436 votes, over Kelly Wieland with 284 votes. Jason Hamilton was the lone name on the ballot for the At-Large seat and received 401 votes; there were 170 write-in votes for Michael Liska, and 23 other scattered write-ins.

In total, 732 people voted in the election. The results will be made official Friday when the board of supervisors canvasses the county’s results.
