Seven special presentations, mayoral appointments, change orders for Well #6, and south water tower improvements are on the agenda for tonight’s Washington City Council meeting.

A public hearing will be held with plans, specifications and cost estimates for the south water tower improvements. The council will consider a resolution approving the plans and then awarding a bid. The special presentations include a request for a street closure in front of the State Theater for the Saving Brinton celebration, the Lincoln Elementary annual Bike-A-Thon, Corn Country Cruisers request for cruise nights in 2018 and 2019, as well as a street closure for the 2017 and 2018 Craft Fairs. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. tonight at the Washington Public Library.
