The Washington Demons are set to host their annual volleyball tournament today at Washington High School.

Washington enters action today with an overall record of 2-19. Last time on the floor the Demons were swept by rival Mount Pleasant in three sets. On the season the Demons are led by Addison Six with 61 kills. Megan Mitchell’s 128 assists are best on the team and sixth best in the Southeast Conference. Morgan Brinning’s 134 digs leads the Demons and is 10th in the Southeast Conference.

Iowa Mennonite will also be in action at Washington today. IMS stands at 12-10 on the season. Last time on the floor they were beaten by Mediapolis in straight sets. On the season IMS is led by Suzanna Yoder with 120 kills, ninth best in the Southeast Iowa Superconference. Yoder also leads the IMS defense and is fifth in the league with 236 digs. Sami Miller is best on the team and eighth in the Superconference with 166 assists.

The Sigourney Savages will also be in Washington today for tournament play. The Savages come into the day with an overall record of 6-11. Last time on the court Sigourney was swept by North Mahaska. On the season the Savages are led by Brooke Waechter with 115 kills. Leah Carter has the team lead and is sixth in the conference with 236 assists. Sydney Striegel leads the Sigourney defense with 141 digs.
