In the middle of his senior season for the Mid-Prairie football team, Golden Hawk running back Keaton Duwa has reached some rarefied air in the Mid-Prairie record books.

With his 64 rushing yards Friday night against the No. 1 ranked Williamsburg Raiders, Duwa moved his career rushing total to 1,522 yards. Duwa surpassed Josh Showalter, a 2007 Mid-Prairie graduate to reach the top 10. Up next on the list is 2006 Mid-Prairie grad Josh Berry at 1,652 yards. The Golden Hawks all-time leading rusher is Tanner Miller. The former Iowa Hawkeye concluded his Mid-Prairie career with 4,003 yards on the ground.
