A haunted attraction to raise funds for the Washington Music Boosters is being held this weekend.

The third annual Haunted Demon Rail Line takes those brave enough along the Kewash Trail and through Hayes Timber. The story of the event is that a circus train crashed there decades ago, and now the dark setting is filled with spooky characters and props.

Chris Hanson with the Music Boosters says in the past two years they’ve raised nearly $10,000, and this year funds raised will be used to purchase new instruments for the high school band. The haunted trail begins at the Kewash Trail parking lot on West 5th Street and admission is $12, it is open 7-10 p.m. Friday, and 7-11 p.m. Saturday.
