The Highland volleyball team saw their season come to a close Tuesday night when they fell to West Branch in the first round of regionals.

The Huskies came out on fire by winning the first set 25-22. The Bears offense took over however, as they rallied off three straight set wins of 25-14, 25-13, and 25-13. The one-two punch of Abbey Fryauf and Kaiya Luneckas was too much for the Huskies, as they each had double-digit kills in the contest. The Huskies were led by Alyson Stokes with eight kills and was everywhere defensively with 18 digs. Emily Streb accounted for seven assists. Other notable performances were Bailey Harmston with six kills and Sydney Black had 10 digs.

With the win West Branch improves to 10-22 as Highland finishes their season 10-15. The Huskies lose Black, Harmston, Murphy Beinhart, Katie Gerot, and Brylee Carolan to graduation.
