The Iowa Mennonite School volleyball team had a great season on the defensive side of the floor in 2017.

The team ended with 1,324 total digs, second most in the Southeast Iowa Superconference, putting them in the top 20 in the state in class 1A. A pair of IMS players finished in the top 10 in the Superconference individually on defense, led by Suzanna Yoder’s 346 digs, fourth most, while Raine Hathaway finished the year with 295 digs, sixth most. Iowa Mennonite ended the season with a 15-14 overall record.
