The Winfield Community Development Group encourages residents to get scared for a good cause at Madness in the Machine Shed.

Following their Friday the 13th opening, this is the first full weekend visitors can walk through the haunted attraction on the corner of Highway 78 and Nebraska Avenue. This is the third year of the event to raise funds for the Rick Rodgers Community Pool, which is expected to be completed the summer of 2018. The KCII Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live from Madness in the Machine Shed tonight. Visitors can also get spooked October 27 and 28 from 8 p.m. to midnight for an $8 admission. Those 14 and younger must have adult supervision, and if you’d like to be less frightened a lighted walk through the shed will be held October 28 from 6-7 p.m.
