A celebration of life for 85-year-old Dean E. Steckly of North English, formerly of Kalona, will be held Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 6:30PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona with Father David Brownfield and Deacon Derick Cranston officiating. Cremation will follow the service and private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 26 from 3 – 6 PM. The family requests casual attire. A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice of Amana.
