Rain and a strong chance of thunderstorms are in the forecast for the KCII-listening area Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center, southeast Iowa has a marginal risk today with isolated severe thunderstorms possible. The risk increases Saturday to slight, which means scattered short-lived, isolated intense storms are possible. The risk is for thunderstorm development with a threat for isolated large hail and wind damage. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
