A vehicle on Highway left the road and struck a tree Thursday night, but nobody was injured.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 9:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Highway 1, about one mile north of Brighton, the vehicle crashed into a tree. No other vehicles were involved. The driver was Diamond Thompson of Illinois. The two occupants of the vehicle were picked up by a Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy and given a ride to Fairfield. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
