A proclamation, Halloween activities, bonds, and fireworks will be discussed at tonight’s Washington City Council meeting.

The council will consider a letter of engagement regarding bond council in connection with the issuance of not to exceed $5.5 million water revenue capital loan notes. Also, the third and final reading of an amendment to the city’s code of ordinances limiting the days of use for fireworks will be held. Plans for Halloween activities for the Washington Chamber of Commerce and the Music Boosters will also be presented. The mayor will give a proclamation for October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Washington Public Library.
