AHead, Heart, Health, and Hands – this week is National 4-H Week.

Washington County is the sixth largest 4-H program in the state with 397 fourth-12th grade members and just over 120 Clover Kids. Washington County 4-H is celebrating the week with a variety of activities including a “Go Green Day” on Wednesday with 4-H members and families to wear their green 4-H shirts to show their pride. Also, the County Council is visiting each fourth grade classroom to play games and explain what the program does locally. While 4-H is for students in fourth grade through senior year, there are also Clover Kids Clubs for youth in kindergarten through third grade. To register for 4-H contact the Washington County Extension Office.
