Four Huskies on All Conference Volleyball Team

The Highland volleyball team had four players named to the Southeast Iowa Super Conference all conference teams.

Headlining the selections is a pair of second teamers including Alyson Stokes as a utility player. The junior was the Huskies’ main offensive threat leading the team with 112 kills. Defensively her 249 digs was the 10th-most out of any player in the north division and she collected 32 blocks.

Sydney Black was also awarded second team honors as a hitter. The senior made her presence known on the defensive side managing the ninth-most digs in the division with 261. She also had the best serve efficiency on the team, being successful on 94% of her serves, which resulted in a team-high 35 aces.

The Huskies also had two seniors named honorable mentions including Murphy Beinhart and Bailey Harmston. Beinhart finished the year with 154 assists and had a 89% serve efficiency. Harmston led the team in blocks with 35 and added 110 kills.

The Huskies finished with a 10-15 overall record.
