Today is election day and you can hear results live from the Washington County Courthouse on KCII tonight.

Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. today across the county. Washington and Riverside both have contested races for mayor. In Washington, current councilman Jaron Rosien and Pete Schaefer are the candidates. In Riverside, incumbent Allen Schneider is seeking re-election, and Joseph Graff is challenging the seat. There are also contested council races in Washington, Kalona, Riverside, Crawfordsville, and Brighton.
