Three Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk cross country runners will wear the black and gold one final time today when they run in the 2017 Iowa Senior All-Star meet.

Mid-Prairie’s Anna Hostetler represents the Mid-Prairie girls. Hostetler had a decorated career as a Golden Hawk including being a four time individual top 10 state finisher, 2016 River Valley Conference individual champion, 2016 individual state champion, 2017 individual state runner-up,  four time member of a top 10 state team finishing squad including 2016s third place finish and the 2017 state championship team.

Mid-Prairie’s Peyton Miller will be on the course today representing the Golden Hawk boys. Miller has also enjoyed a stellar career including three individual top 25 finishes at the state meet including a personal best seventh place finish in 2017. Miller was part of three top four team finishes in his career including a state team championship in 2016 and a team state runner-up finish in 2017.

Mid-Prairie’s Floyd Evans will also running for the final time as a Golden Hawk today. Evans has also had a decorated career for the Golden Hawk boys. Evans was part of three teams that finished in the top four in the state including a state championship in 2016 and state runner-up finish in 2017. Evans finished in the top 30 individually three times at the state meet and in 2017 had his best finish at 10th. He was also the 2017 River Valley Conference individual champion.

The meet is held today on the Des Moines Area Community College Campus.
