The Danville girls’ basketball team got the best of Lone Tree on Monday when they defeated the Lions 45-25.

The Bears came out with a stifling defense only allowing 11 first half points to the Lions and cruised out to a 26-11 first half lead. The Lions would not go away winning the third quarter by a score of 11-9, but it was not enough as Danville held on for the twenty-point victory. Alyssa Pfadenhauer led the way for the Bears with 12 points on six of nine shooting.

The Lions will look to bounce back Monday when they travel to Keota.
