The WACO football team had a one-game improvement from last year, and a big part of that was an explosive offense that was among the best in 8-man.

The Warriors were used to putting up gaudy numbers offensively as they scored over 50 points in six of their 10 games and averaged 45 per game. Much of their success came from their do-it-all runningback Colton Horak, who had the ninth-most rushing yards in 8-man with 1,222 in just eight games. He also led the team in receiving with 430 yards and six touchdowns. Quarterback Nik Coble was impressive in his sophomore campaign finishing second in the district with 1,402 yards and 18 touchdowns. The Warriors had weapons from all over having eight players with at least three touchdowns on the year.

WACO finished the season 4-6 and loses Jason Sammons, Calvin Battle, and Cody Crawford to graduation.
