Donation Presented to Washington County K-9 Fund

A donation was presented to the Washington County K-9 Fund at the recent Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. Auditor Dan Widmer explained, a $100 donation was given by Bob Kennedy of Washington. Two years ago the Washington County Sheriff’s Office gained two K-9 officers, named Drako and Vasco. They began their work with the department in July of 2015. The two officers are trained for drug investigations, as well as search and rescue cases.

Bridge Work Complete 150th Re-Opened
