The WACO football team was well represented on the 8-man district 4 all district teams as seven players were recognized.

Headlining the selections was three first teamers. The do-it-all runningback Colton Horak was selected as he collected the fourth most rushing yards in the district with 1,222 and 430 receiving. The junior was also the leading Warrior tackler with 70. Cody Crawford was another first team selection as an offensive lineman. The four-year letterman helped pave the way for Horak and the rest of the team amass over 2,300 rushing yards on the year. The last selection was Calvin Battle as a defensive back. The senior had 37 tackles including two for a loss and also added 320 receiving yards offensively.

WACO had two players named to the second team. Jason Sammons added depth to the offensive line as a guard. The senior also recorded 19 tackles on the other side of the ball. He helped protect quarterback Nik Coble, who was selected as a sophomore. He accumulated 1,402 yards through the air with 18 touchdowns and only five interceptions.

The final recipients were Matthew Leichty and Hunter Donaldson for honorable mention. Leichty was a versatile tight end that ended the year with 22 receptions for 271 yards and three scores. Donaldson was a force defensively with 36 tackles including eight for a loss.

The Warriors finished the year 4-6 overall.
