New members of the National Honor Society at Washington High School will be inducted Tuesday.

Eight seniors and 12 juniors were elected to membership. To be eligible a student must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher, and students are considered based on character, leadership, and service. The eight juniors are Michaela Hoffman, Addison McGuire, Grace Miller, Trevor Moravec, Kylee Porter, Samuel Reed, Brandon Stephanie, and Jacob Van Osdol. The new junior members are Christina Brinning, Tori Brush, Peyton Cuddebck, Gwendolyn Flannery, Gracie Greiner, Jenah Greiner, Cade Hennigan, Allison Hippen, Madelyn Janecek, Brennan Murphy, Meghan Newman, and Molly Sparks.

The local chapter of The American Association of University Women is hosting a reception for the new members and their parents, where new members will be inducted, at 7:15 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church.
