The Washington boys’ basketball team gears up for another season with six seniors leading the charge.

The Demons finished last season with a 7-14 record and lost four players to graduation. They bring back experience however, including third leading scorer Jack Redlinger, averaging eight points per game. Jacob Van Osdol adds a threat from behind the arc shooting 48% from threes and averaged four points per contest. Dalton Myers led the team in scoring last week in their jamboree scrimmage. The senior averaged seven points a year ago and is scrappy defensively with a team-high 38 steals. Cale Hobscheidt, Blake Hartzler, and Matthew Roder round out the senior class for the Demons.

Washington officially kick off their season Friday hosting Muscatine.
