Washington will soon be rid of 30 more hazardous trees from public right of way.

At a recent city council meeting it was approved unanimously to accept the bid from Stoutner Property Maintenance. The removal work will cost $13,950 and includes removing the trees and stumps, and then hauling them away. The work was recommended by the city’s Emerald Ash Borer Tree Committee and is the last of the city’s hazardous trees.
