In their final action before the Christmas holiday, the WACO girls basketball team fell on the road against West Burlington 58-37.

Things were even early with the game tied at 13 after one and with West Burlington up 23-21 at half. The Warriors continued to hang around, down just 37-34 going to the fourth. In the final frame, the Falcons turned it on, ending the game on a 21-3 run that lasted the entire frame to take the win. Kiana Miller led the Warriors with 12 points. With the loss WACO is 3-6 entering Christmas break.
