The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team is back in action tonight when they travel to Durant for a River Valley Conference Quadrangular.

The Hawks will see Monticello, Bellevue and the home standing Wildcats in action tonight. Mid-Prairie enters the meet with an overall dual record of 7-5 on the season. The Hawks were last in action Saturday at the North Linn tournament.

Monticello comes into tonight with an overall record of 8-1. The Panthers have two ranked wrestlers in their lineup according to the latest rankings from thepredicament.com. Kain Luensman is sixth in class 2A at 113lbs and Chase Luensman is sixth at 132lbs. The Panthers beat the Golden Hawks in an earlier dual this season 48-36.

Bellevue comes into tonight with a 7-9 overall record. Mid-Prairie beat Bellevue last season 43-28.

Durant is 0-8 coming into tonight’s meet.
