The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team is back on the mat tonight when they host Northeast Goose Lake, Cascade and Iowa City Regina in a River Valley Conference quadrangular in Wellman.

The Golden Hawks were last in action Saturday at the Mount Vernon Tournament where Isaac Boucher led the team at 220lbs with a fifth place finish. Mid-Prairie enters tonight with a 5-4 dual record.

Iowa City Regina comes into the night with an overall record of 1-3 on the season. According to thepredicament.com the Regals have two ranked wrestlers in their lineup with Ryan Schott seventh at 170lbs in class 1A and Nick Milder sixth at 182lbs. These two teams met two weeks ago with Mid-Prairie winning the dual 54-11.

Northeast Goose Lake comes into the night with an overall record of 0-6. Mid-Prairie met the Rebels two weeks ago and came away with a 45-24 dual win.

Cascade comes into the night with an overall record of 9-5. The Cougars have two ranked wrestlers in their lineup with Aidan Noonan ranked 9th at 106lbs in class 1A and Nolan Noonan ranked eighth at 120lbs. Mid-Prairie beat Cascade in their last meeting a season ago 51-23.

Action begins tonight at 5:30 at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
