The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls basketball teams are back home tonight when they welcome the visiting Williamsburg Raiders to Wellman.

The Mid-Prairie girls are 6-2 on the season after a hard fought 54-50 loss at West Branch on Tuesday. Addie Rath led Mid-Prairie with 20 points. On the season Rath is Mid-Prairie’s leading scorer at 17 points per game, second best in the River Valley Conference. Rath also leads the team with 64 assists. Anna Vilovchik has the team lead with 25 assists.

Williamsburg comes into tonight with an overall record of 2-8. In their last game they were beaten 49-29 by Clear Creek Amana. Emily Jensen leads the Raiders, scoring seven points per game. Jensen also leads the way on the glass with 51 boards, fourth most in the WAMAC West Conference. Mackenzie O’Neill has a team best 13 assists.

The Mid-Prairie boys enter tonight at 2-6 on the season after a 68-59 loss at West Branch. Tom Butters finished with a double double 12 points and 14 rebounds. Dominic Pickard went for 16 and Brad Tornow had 10 points. On the season the Hawks are led by Cale Robertson scoring 10 points per game. Tornow leads the team and is eighth in the RVC with 21 assists. Butters is seventh in the conference and best on the team with 47 rebounds.

Williamsburg is 2-4 on the season. They were beaten Tuesday by Clear Creek-Amana 80-66. On the season the Raiders are led by Brandon Blythe at 15 points per game, seventh in the WAMAC West Conference. Elias Hinrichsen has the team lead with 17 assists. Ben Subbert has the team lead and is fourth in the WAMAC with 49 rebounds.
