The Highland wrestling team was back in action on Thursday traveling to West Burlington Notre Dame for a dual tournament.

It was a busy night for the Huskies, as they won one of their five contests. They lost a close one to Davis County 39-36, Mount Pleasant 43-33, Louisa-Muscatine 48-27, and Pekin 44-25. The one dual win came against the host Falcons 42-30.

Cory Stewart had another efficient day at 138 lbs winning all five of his matches by four pins and a 10-5 decision. Brady Hahn at 145 lbs won all four of his contested matches by three falls and a 6-3 decision. Other top finish for Highland was Cullen Klebe at 126 lbs with three contested match wins by fall, 8-0 major decision, and 6-5 decision.

The Huskies are off for the holidays and will get back at it January 6th hosting a tournament.
