Earlier this month, senior Kiana Miller etched herself into WACO girls’ basketball lore when she broke the school record for threes in a game.

Somedays shooters just “feel it”. That was the case for Miller on December 9th when she nailed six shots from behind the arc. Her six of 12 shooting night propelled WACO to a 41-29 win over Keota and a new name a top the school’s record books. On the season Miller has shot 33% from threes and has compiled a team’s best 10 points per game. While she is often a player to watch out for on the offensive end, she also has made her presence known defensively leading the team in steals with 14. Miller has helped the Warriors to a 3-6 record heading into the break.
