PAWS and More Animal Shelter in Washington is thanking the community for support throughout the year and is inviting everyone to stop by and celebrate Saturday.

The annual Holiday Open House is being held and some items will be for sale with proceeds benefiting the shelter. Director of the shelter Amber Talbot explains the event, “So we’ve got some neat items for sale, but mostly it’s a welcoming for the community to come in, have some wonderful snacks, and meet all of the adoptable animals. We are doing half-price cat adoptions through December 15th. So, we’re still in need of lots of furry friends getting their forever homes and we’ll have reduced adoption prices for them.” Items on the shelter’s holiday wish list include dog treats, blankets, old bath towels, dog leashes, and more. The open house will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at PAWS and More.
