Riverside City Council Taking Action on Housing Development, TIF Agreements Monday

A housing development agreement, tax increment financing agreement, and well easement with the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort will all be considered at the Riverside City Council meeting Monday.

On the council’s agenda is a resolution for the city to proceed with a development agreement with APEX Construction and Yeggy Roetlin Farms, LLC for the development of 28 acres northwest of Tupelo Boulevard. The council will also be taking action on an agreement authorizing tax increment financing payments of up to $220,000 to Michael Vaughn for the construction of AFCS Truck Wash located near Highways 22 and 218. A resolution is also set for an agreement for a permanent easement for an access road to the city’s Well #8, on property owned by the Riverside Casino. A final payment will be made to Dave Schmitt Construction for the 2nd and Washburn Street improvements project, and the council will swear in newly elected and re-elected officials. The Riverside City Council meets Monday at 6:30 p.m.
