The Sigourney boys’ basketball team was on the court for the final time in 2017 on Thursday and they fell to Colfax-Mingo 76-45.

A tough first half plagued the Savages, as they quickly were down 20-6 after the first quarter and 42-15 heading into the break. The Tigerhawks continued to pour it on in the second half to seize the conference win. Colfax-Mingo had four players in double figures led by Jarod Nichols with 20 points. Spencer Magill led the Savages with 13 points and Brady Powers had 12.

With the loss Sigourney concludes the first half of the season with a 3-6 record, as the Tigerhawks move to 7-2. Sigourney will get back at it January 5th hosting BGM.
