The WACO basketball teams were back in action Tuesday night falling to Van Buren in both contests.

The WACO girls put up a fight with Van Buren but ultimately fell 46-30. WACO had a tough time stopping freshman Isabel Manning collecting a game-high 14 points. Aubri Garnsey paced the Warriors with 10 points and Kiana Miller added six. WACO drops to 2-5 after the loss.

Despite three Warriors in double figures, the WACO boys fell to Van Buren 59-52. Calvin Battle led the way for WACO with 15 points. Nik Coble and Conner Eichelberger each added 10 points. Free throws were the difference in this one, as WACO only connected on 11 of their 23 offerings from the line. The Warriors drop to 2-4 on the season.

The Warriors get back in action Saturday hosting Winfield-Mt. Union.
