Washington’s school board is looking for students’ opinions on the district.

At their recent meeting, the board approved having HUMANeX Ventures do a student engagement survey at the middle school and high school. Superintendent Jeff Dicks explains once the survey is complete there will be a debriefing with staff to show hat the results are and how students feel. The 64-question anonymous survey will be online and will look at a variety of dimensions from satisfaction and engagement, to perceptions of teachers and safety. The same company is conducting a survey with staff in the district. The student survey will cost $4,000.
