The Demon (3-6) girls’ basketball team will look to finish off the first half of the season strong tonight when they welcome Louisa-Muscatine (3-5) to town.

The Demons will look to bounce back from Friday’s loss to Keokuk 54-31. Sarah Nacos led the team on the day with 11 points on three of six shooting. Nacos continues to lead the team in scoring averaging 14 points a contest and presents a threat from behind the arc, shooting at a 31% clip. Addison Six and Brooke Stout have cleaned up the boards with 16 rebounds a game.

Much like the Demons, the Falcons pride themselves on rebounding, as they bring down 39 a game to Washington’s 35. Louisa-Muscatine is riding high, winning their last two games over Columbus Community and Winfield-Mt. Union. Mariah Pugh is a player to look out for averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds a contest.

The final game before break gets started at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Washington High School. Tune into KCII to listen to the broadcast starting at 7 p.m. for the Washington HyVee pregame show.
