The WACO boys basketball team closed up their pre Christmas slate last week falling to West Burlington on the road 72-52.

Offensively, the Falcons were tough to keep pace with, opening the game with a 15-9 lead after one West Burlington stormed out to 23 second quarter points to hold a 12 point lead at halftime. The Falcons stayed hot after intermission, outscoring the Warriors 20-11 in the third, taking control of the game and the win. Nik Coble had a monster double double for WACO posting 16 points and 22 rebounds. Colton Horak finished with 13 points and Calvin Battle 12. With the loss, WACO enters break at 3-6 on the year.
