The Washington bowling teams were back in action for the first time in 2018 on Saturday by traveling to Muscatine for an invitational.

The boys’ team was down one bowler to all other competing teams and placed eighth out of eight teams with a score of 1769. Camanche took home the title with 3048. Tucker Renoux had a big day for the Demons placing sixth out of 46 participants with a two-game score of 411. Dustin Beaham of Louisa-Muscatine bested the whole field with a score of 517. Other scoring for the Demons includes Drake Schuetter with 303, Keaton Zear with 282, and Dacota Miller with 151.

The Demon girls placed sixth out of seven teams with a score of 1959. Louisa-Muscatine posted the best score of 2863. Trista Kelly led the way for the Demons with a score of 322 to place 15th overall. Shayden Bishop of Louisa-Muscatine won the individual title with 458. Other Demon scoring includes Rylie Swart with 270, Dawsen Schuetter with 260, Taylor Northup with 253, Katie Donnolly with 225, and Taylor Janacek with 222.

The Demons get back at it tomorrow traveling to Fairfield.
